Bishop Karas

Bishop Karas, also known as Bishop Samuel, was a prominent figure in the Coptic Orthodox Church. His full name was Bishop Samuel of El-Qussia and Mair. He was born in 1929 in Egypt and became one of the leading figures within the Coptic Church during the 20th century.

 

Bishop Karas was known for his dedication to the church and his efforts in promoting Coptic Orthodox Christianity, both in Egypt and around the world. He played a significant role in the church's educational and social welfare activities, particularly in the areas of youth ministry and theological education.
